Covid-19 Death Count vs. Abortion Body Count: USA

Most people in these United States of America are in hiding and terrified of the virus labeled Covid-19. They fear for their lives and the lives of their loved ones. As of April 20, 2020, the U.S. death toll was about reportedly just under 48,000. Even if this present death rate went on til the end of this year, it would barely scratch the surface of our annual butchery of unborn children.

Vast sums of money, time, and energy are being poured out to stop, slow, prevent, and cure Covid-19, because people fear for their own lives, their loss of current family, social order, power, money, etc. BUT, where is that same fear, energy, or health and welfare management when people start talking about the abortion death rate for unborn children? Our society's institutionalized killing of defenseless unborn children, as we do for profit and convenience, is still murder in God's eyes. Just because the government and certain people in the "healthcare" field want girls and women to not be penalized for killing their babies, that doesn't make abortion morally or socially right.

The grandpappy of wholesale on-demand abortions, the Guttmacher Institute, almost bewails that abortion rates are slowly dropping. Why are they whining about fewer children being killed?!

Who is crying about, fearful for, or working to protect, all those unborn children being murdered annually when their numbers FAR EXCEED the deaths caused by all our annual viruses in the USA?

This nation desperately needs to repent of the evil of abortion and turn to the Living God.

Has the Pandemic Changed Your Heart and Thinking, This Easter 2020?

This day, April 12, 2020, is truly a unique and blessed Resurrection Day.

This is the first time in modern history, despite all the wars since and including WWI (over 100 years ago) that virtually all the world’s people have shut themselves away and isolated from each other. This is done in the name of a virus plague, something unseen, but of which we can see the works of sickness and death. The governments and healthcare professionals of this world are besides themselves trying to figure out the best way to cope with and help others through this crisis, and eventually, as the saying goes, “This, too, shall pass.”

Amazingly, human sin is exactly like that unseen virus, for sin itself is unseen, although we can easily see the infective, destructive, contagious works that sin causes in our own lives and the lives of others. Sin is a plague upon humanity. God’s Bible clearly shows us how to deal with and overcome sin that kills millions of people annually, yet, human efforts struggle to contain the current viral plague.

Those attempting to contain, treat, and prevent the spread of the current virus have almost everyone’s attention and compliance because of people's worldwide fears that they and their loved ones might die from this temporary virus. Day in and day out for thousands and thousands of years humanity has tortured itself, laboring in sin and sin’s destructive works. Yet, despite our self-inflicted destructiveness, we collectively, as a whole, are disdainful of God’s solution to our sinful problems. God and His Word are seldom honored by human beings, as He wishes to be honored, even though God tells us that by following His Word we each can be forgiven of our sins, overcome our sin natures, walk with Him in the truth of His Word, and have a guaranteed eternal home with Him, all according to His biblical promises that He never breaks.

Virtually everyone who is now in medical or social isolation, because of the current virus, is looking forward to the day when we can all socialize “normally” again. That, I’m sure shall be greatly celebrated, almost as if we all rose from the dead, in a worldly sense. Yet, here we are, Easter-Resurrection Sunday 2020, and we need to ask ourselves if we are really looking forward to our own death, burial, and resurrection and facing God Almighty, for we all shall be resurrected to one or the other of two judgments.

One Judgment shall be for the lost who never really trusted God’s Christ, His way. The other Judgment shall be for those who did trust God’s Christ, His way. Believe me when I say that the Bible alone, by God's mercy, can convince you of God’s truth and where you personally stand at that fork in the road. It’s not my word, but His. Search John and Romans to see for yourself what God wants and expects of you and your life. Be SURE that you are on His narrow path of life and not the broad path of eternal destruction, as Jesus Christ called those roads.

I love you because Christ first loved me, and I wish God’s peace and assurances upon you and your life, as you trust Him according to His promises. He adamantly says, “…but without faith it is impossible to please Him: for those that cometh to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of those that diligently seek Him.” (Hebrews 11:6).
