Errors of Virtue Signaling

1. The first thing wrong with virtue signaling is that it focuses on one's self and not on God. That breaks God's first great commandment. 

2. The second thing wrong with virtue signaling is that it compares our person and actions against one another, instead of testing our thoughts, feelings, desires, and actions by what God says. That tends to break God's second great commandment. 

3. The third thing wrong with virtue signaling is that those who do it make up their own standards of righteousness and by doing so they make themselves into false gods as they choose to reject God's absolute standards. That breaks both of God's two great commandments. 

4. The fourth thing wrong with virtue signaling is that it is self-deceptive and socially destructive, since no one can save themselves from their own sins no matter how they try to ignore their sins or try to explain them away. By denying their accountability to God's laws, those who use virtue signaling choose to condemn themselves to the eternal consequences of having rejected God's law, God's standards, and His only plan of salvation.

However, IF you want to avoid making yourself into a false god and avoid the false thinking of virtue signaling, I strongly suggest that you humbly and prayerfully ask God to teach you what He wants you to do with your life, as you read the books of John and Romans (in the King James Bible that God has preserved for English speaking people for over 400 years). God bless you to make peace with Him according to what He says, for there is no other true peace in this life or the next, apart from what God has said and preserved for us since the beginning of His Creation. 

Lies About Guns and Gun Violence Laws

Historically, it is and always has been true, since Cain killed his brother Abel, that violent and irresponsible people, the insane, the emotionally disturbed, the ideologically hostile, and violence-oriented people have and always will choose weapons of planning or weapons of opportunity, whether those weapons are firearms, ropes, stones, sticks, spears, knives, swords, hands, feet, cars, trucks, bamboo flutes, spoons, forks, glass shards, pressure cookers, explosives, nylon stockings, leftover rebar, plastic bags, duct tape, drugs, old 2x4s, pipes, bricks, alcohol, fists, poisons, Molotov cocktails, or whatever. 

A weapon is anything that we use in hostile actions or threats against other people, even our verbal and nonverbal actions and attitudes. According to reporting from Gun Owners of America, on YouTube, there are numerous billionaires who are funding more than 98% of anti-gun activities, in the USA. Those same billionaires insist that they need armed guards to protect them against the violence of this world. While they deny the ineffectiveness of anti-gun laws that fail to deter crime, the billionaires use their wealth as a weapon against the rest of us who do not have as much earthly wealth. They assert that , because of their wealth, they are more entitled to be protected, yet, they deny us the right to defend ourselves. Their attempts to deny our natural rights to defend ourselves, at the expense of them being able to hire armed guards for their own protection, is utter moral hypocrisy.

The only way to stop the impending immediate violent action of a person who is determined to commit some violent act against us is to stop them immediately with counteractive violence, or throw a net over them. There is no law of any kind that has ever stopped a violent act from happening. There is no confiscation of weapons in any society that has eliminated violence from that society. History is filled with despots who stripped citizens and slaves, alike, of all weapons, and yet, enslaved people, throughout history, still rose up and overthrew their captors and their masters, which is how these United States of America came into being...or doesn't anyone remember history? 

We aren't perfect, but we have written standards in God's preservation of the 400+ year old King James Bible and our 200+ year old U. S. Constitution, by which we can righteously judge our attitudes and actions. We must judge ourselves and all things by those two Standards. While many attack, with the words of politics, false ideologies, and immorality, as they seek to demolish our Constitution (that was based in the Bible), yet, we'll surely be judged by God for our failure to obey His Bible. God calls us to a higher standard, not to lower our standards. He tells us to judge ourselves so that we not be found to be frauds, failures, nor false accusers of others.

Let us remember that humanity broke all of God's laws, first. Since then, all the human laws in the world have not deterred and cannot deter the violent or murderous intentions of any person who is determined to act with violence. Violent people find or make weapons to fit their intentions. What about the violence of thieves who steal the livelihoods and savings of hundreds, thousands, or millions of people? are those thefts not crimes of hatred and violence that cause despair, death, hunger, suicide, among the victims? All sins against other people are hateful, as are all human actions that break righteous human laws that comply with the laws of God. Every sin against others is an attack against the other person. If that is not hateful, then we are not speaking the same language, linguistically or morally. If we are not able to communicate in common terms and standards, then we are doomed to violate one another's natural God-given rights.

Look at the violence all around us all throughout the world. Look at all the violence among prisoners who are stored in prisons, away from society, worldwide! The violence and the production of weapons by convicts, worldwide, tells us that even in the most dire of circumstances, even with the most severe bans against weapons, people with violent intent are going to produce or find useable weapons. Throughout this world, the burgeoning violent prison populations, and the myriad of weapons they make within the prisons, cry out in protest against the self-justifying ignorance and despotism of the gun-control lobby.

Laws were established to name and punish crimes, but laws have never stopped crime. In the beginning, God gave simple perfect laws, but humanity broke them by choice, including the choice to commit murder. Attempts to control violent human behavior by anti-gun laws date back for more than 100 years, in the USA. Those attempts at behavioral control have never been successful at regulating the violent sin-nature of humanity. ONLY by virtue of the moral and spiritual strength in the lives of individuals can we stop ourselves from committing violent acts. 

What the anti-gun crowd refuses to acknowledge is that a morally and spiritually sick society is a self-destructive and violent society, even as the Bible talks about the interrelated immorality and violence of Sodom and Gomorrah. It is morally and spiritually sick individuals who need to take responsibility for their own actions and repent of their sins, as does our society as a whole. They need to stop blaming inanimate objects, such as guns, for the evil and violence that people perpetrate against each other. It is human attempts to make a God-less, secular society that drives our personal and collective sinful and selfish actions and attitudes. It is those despiritualized secularized thoughts, feelings, and passions  that turn us to lust for what others own and to hate and harm each other. May God help us all to repent of our evil thoughts and behaviors and that we return to His holy ways and His Bible, for we cannot save ourselves from ourselves. 

Cancer Testifies Against Evolution

Recently, I was reading through a list of cancer research projects that have been and are being done around the USA, especially those relating to children. As I read the details of the various research projects and how the cancers affect the people, it became obvious that cancer is one of those anti-evolution road signs that God puts in our path to wake us up to His Creation and the bounds that He puts on wholesome genetic development and creature adaptations. 

Without looking up the specific reference in his "Origin of Species", I recall reading where Darwin had posited, in discussing his idea of gradualistic evolution, that IF his premise of genetic evolution were to be scientifically plausible according to his own speculatation, then researchers should see millions of successfully advancing micro advances in any given species and that those advances should utterly litter the ground around us, from year to year and eon to eon. But, no one ever finds that kind of trail of gradualistic advances in the adaptations of any species. What researchers have found instead are millions upon millions of cancerous genetic alterations that are fatal to normal development, not just in humans but across all major living organisms, i.e. virtually all mutations are fatal mutations. That degree of degradation and fatality is not genetic evolution, but rather it is the degradation of what was the higher echelon, more resilient previous standard of genetic programming. Each fatal mutation is fatal because of the organism's genetic inability to change beyond a certain predetermined configuration of its genetic coding. Every species has its own preset adaptation and life span range as set by our Creator. Modern science is finally starting to recognize this truth.

Are US Citizens Really Concerned About People Being Killed?

There are numerous organizations in the USA that continue ongoing efforts to collect money, create programs, and obtain political influence to mitigate human suffering and death. That's all well and good, on the surface. However, as we participate in such things we need to ask ourselves whether our aspirations and motivations for our participation in such groups are consistent, before God and as members of society, especially as we engage with various groups with varying focuses.

Among the generally well-intended efforts, some groups hypocritically claim to be fearful of and against human deaths that are caused by the abuses, violence, and deaths caused by some murderers having used  firearms, despite many of the same group members of the supposedly public-safety minded projects, also, working and contributing, elsewhere, to promote high volume death of human babies, via their other groups' support of death by abortions. Though they seek to stop a small amount of killing by murders using firearms, yet, they advocate for the multi-million dollar business of death by abortion, with deaths by abortion reaping about fifty-six times more deaths among innocent souls than do firearms-related murders in the USA. The same people's contradictory claims about their professed concern for human life, in those two areas, make no sense, other than that they have severely conflicting ideas about who gets to live or die. 

One cannot righteously claim to be doing good or intent on doing good when one only wants to protect a small number of innocent lives against murder committed with firearms but then one actively supports and has no difficulty allowing the destruction of 56 times as many innocent unborn lives by way of abortion. 

I recommend that one read our U.S. Bill of Rights and the Bible, to see that a person, a child, a baby, and human life itself are more than some lump of chemicals that pop out of the womb at birthing. A review of basic biology also helps us to understand that babies are genetically and physically separate living entities within their mothers from the moment of conception, and that a baby's placenta is of the same genetic makeup was the baby, to supply the child its needs and protect the child from its mother's immune system. What should shock and call to action every citizen of these United States of America is that while there are about 10,000 to 12,000 annual firearms-related murders, in recent years, and although abortion numbers are generally trending downward nationwide, there are, yet, more than 620,000 abortions, annually: women of the USA have still been choosing to kill more than 620,00 of their own unborn babies every year. May God have mercy on them for having destroyed their children. There is a little progress, seeinga how women used to kill more than a million of their unborn babies every year. But, for now, by comparing recent annual numbers, if we divide the approximately 620,000 abortion-killed babies by the approximately 11,000 firearms-related murders of people of all ages, we should see that, for each person murdered with any kind of firearm, there are about 56 times more innocent babies executed via abortion. This is a national horror and disgrace, that our medical "helping professions"  poison and butcher so many hundreds of thousands of our innocent helpless babies every year: remember that ratio of 56 to 1. Annually, by our tolerance, acceptance, or encouragement of the premeditated deliberate murders of innocent unborn babies, we utterly disgrace ourselves, and we cannot, nor shall we, justify such slaughter socially, morally, or spiritually before God. As a nation, we need to repent of murdering more than 600,000 of our own unborn children every year, and we cannot afford to keep practicing this murderous behavior, for by the destruction of our unborn children we destroy our future. 

If and when people who hate firearms-related deaths shall have helped to reduce the ratio of those 620,000 abortions, from 56 to 1 ratio to a 1 to 1 level, compared to the 10,000 to 12,000 annual firearms-related murders, then and only then shall they have a morally legitimate voice in speaking against murders by firearm abuse.

Invisible Lives and Real Consequences

If you ever thought you could really get away with things in life, think again.

Recently, I happened across a photograph of a phenomenon called spalting. The photo is beautiful, from an artistic outlook, but it demonstrates the principle that unseen causes and unseen events can have serious consequences.

In response to that photo, I wrote a short piece about the underlying delusion of our assumptions that what is out of sight can't hurt us. Wrong!

Beware of Unconstitutional Anti-firearms Arguments: Political and Moral Panic Do NOT Justify Anti-firearm Oppression of Law-abiding Citizens

I recently watched a YouTube video from one of the USCCA lawyers, but, as of this writing, I cannot locate it again. I apologize. It was very informative about many legal technical questions raised by various anti-gun arguments.

The pea and nutshell legal shuffling of the "Feinstein argument" belies the common sense of the Second Amendment, especially with regard to any implication of the meaning of "common use" restrictions, as there are no "common use" conditions stated in our Constitution. The commonly understood cause for our Second Amendment was for common citizens to be able to protect themselves from any and every tyrannical government, including our own if it became tyrannical. That is clear in the ancillary writings of our Founding Fathers.

For decades, until my arthritis got too bad, I carried a Sig Sauer P226 9mm semi-auto handgun on my person, for protection. I, personally, used the OEM 15, as well as18 and 20, round magazines in that gun. Those were my daily-carry ammo supply in my self-protection firearm. I used both OEM and aftermarket magazines, commonly, in that gun, all the time, on my person, as well as during practice at the range. Even though I never had to fire even one round of ammunition from those gun and magazine combinations in any actual defense of self or others, I was always prepared to do so if it had been necessary. THAT was common use, in every reasonable and socially responsible sense of the word.

The illogical and unconstitutional legal word salads made by anti-gun lawyers and politicians deny the underlying truth of such common practical use by law-abiding citizens. Those legal word salads attack the meaning of words instead of accepting the common usage of words, and thereby, the anti-gun lawyers and politicians seek to make language itself meaningless. Their attempts to destroy the meaning of common language, confuse undiscerning courtrooms and citizens. Such verbiage, also, seeks to destroy common understanding between members of society. By those obfuscations, the anti-gun crowd condemns our society to devolve into primitive combative anti-social behaviors, as we see happening across our society, today.

It is an unholy thing that the Feinstein Argument sets up the requirement that common use of firearms should mean that firearms owners and bearers must actually pull the trigger and actively shoot other human beings as a requisite proof of common use of any politically or "legally" questioned firearm configuration or design. Feinstein's required shooting of human beings as proof of common use is an immoral and an insane view of the purpose of our Constitution and our Second Amendment rights.

We must remember that many of those who are trying to disarm law-abiding citizens of the USA have delusions about the function and availability of police forces, plus, many of the wealthier anti-gun people are able to hire their own private personal armed guards or armed services to protect themselves. But, those elitists do not want us, the common citizens, to be able to arm or defend ourselves with weapons of our own choosing, as was affirmed, stated, and implied in the SCOTUS Dred Scott decision. The HULU Channel has a current program about serial killers that crisscross our continent, and the conclusion of the program states that our US justice system and policing are out of control, unable to protect U.S. citizens from harm and scarcely able to deal with a fraction of the violent crime attacks on our citizens. Honest appraisal of our criminal and justice systems must come to the logical conclusion that each and every citizen must be willing to arm ourselves and band together in defense of self, family, and our neighborhoods, IF we want to keep the local peace. The police departments are there to help pick up the pieces and begin the process of sorting out the legal implications of self-defense situations. There shall never be enough police to keep every evildoer from doing evil. Our communities must be self-policing, especially since FBI statistics have shown that 3/4 of all violent crimes against persons are NOT committed with firearms of any kind.

Many years ago, in the Dred Scott case, SCOTUS morally, biblically, socially, and constitutionally misjudged the humanity of the man incorrectly. Yet, the decision of the Court did correctly understand and apply the Second Amendment in that case: for, as SCOTUS stated, IF they had adjudicated him to be a human being, as they should have done, he would then have been wholly entitled under our U.S. Constitution to all constitutional rights and would have been recognized as having the natural right to keep and bear arms of any kind, anywhere he chose, at any time, within these United States of America. The Sullivan Law of N.Y., the FDR establishment of anti-gun laws, and all anti-gun laws, ATF rulings, and Executive Orders have been in egregious violation of our Constitution. With that governmental infringement on our natural right to bear arms for self-defense against tyranny, our own government and self-serving anti-social groups have also infringed upon our rights to responsible free speech and freedom of religion.

Our Nation is sinking fast into the oblivion of history. We must return to God's Word, the Bible, and to the plain language of our US Constitution.

In English, God Keeps His Word In the King James Bible,, NOT In the Confusion of Hundreds of English Language Versions

Do we believe in God, AND that He keeps His Word, or not? Our true beliefs govern our actions, and our actions prove our beliefs. Our spiritual interest got us this far. Are we willing to seek out what God says about Himself and about His Word, within the whole Bible, comparing Scripture with Scripture? 

William Chamberlin’s “Catalogue of English Bible Translations”, 1991, lists hundreds of bible versions in the English language! …but God says that He keeps His Word pure! Purity and confusion do not fit together. Do we want to find, know, and use God’s one true Bible in English, instead being confused by hundreds of versions, transliterations, and paraphrases?

 I first believed on God and His salvation plan at about 36 years old. I was confused by the many English versions of the Bible. I read through several, side by side, comparing what they said and how they said it. As I learned sound doctrine from biblically sound preachers and teachers, I compared sound doctrines with how the versions expressed themselves in relation to those sound doctrines. From cover to cover, only the King James Bible consistently matched doctrine with the biblical statements of God (including comparisons with the Received or Syrian text that was the foundation of 1^st and 2^nd Century Christianity). David Fuller’s “Which Bible?” is a sound historical reference.

 Both lost and saved people argue about what Bible to use. Some want what feels good. Some don’t want to use a dictionary. Some desire modernistic language, or someone else’s scholarship. Too many people want to be spoonfed, neglecting to study through the Bible, in detail, for themselves, often missing that God insists that He can keep His own Word pure. The Bible repeats (in many ways) that God’s prime attributes are omnipotence, omniscience, and omnipresence. IF God is God and exists according to what the Bible says, then He can do anything He says, any way that He says, and any time that He says. THAT includes that He can say anything AND ALSO preserve that for all people in all languages for all time. God says it, so, it’s true.

 “God is not the author of confusion.” (1 Corinthians 14:33) But, from almost the beginning of human experience (Genesis 3:1), Satan has tried to tear down human relations with God. Satan persistently attacks human thought with the doubt-inducing question, “Yea, hath God said?”. People, themselves, use doubt to dismiss all sorts of good, godly, established things in life. The devil loves human doubt or equivocation about God’s Bible. Doubt leads to weakness and contention. Let’s trust God’s Word, not bow to doubt-inducing versions.

 What does God say? God says His Word is always good, pure, and faithful (Psalm 33:11 & 100:5). He holds His Word higher than His own Name (Psalm 138:2), for without His Word being eternally pure, true, and faithfully available to us, we, then, could never trust what He says. Our faith would be vain.

 Let us walk with God in His Word, not in doubt. Here are some phrases to search and study with a King James Bible computer app, or Strong’s Concordance. Read each of these God-used expressions to see what God says and means in their proper contexts. Said by God many times and in many ways, we need to trust His Word, the Bible. Given how many times God says these things in varying contexts, we should be shocked at how much human debate and confusion is associated with this overall topic, undermining human faith and confidence in God's Word, all that strife and doubt which Satan loves to see. Jas 2:19 "Thou believest that there is one God; thou doest well: the devils also believe, and tremble."
