Google Search Rats Out Fallacy of Carbon Neutrality

Many people have no clue, beyond the buzzwords and pop-science, about what various carbon imprint jargon means both literally and practically. One of the favorite things that folks often toss around is "Carbon neutral", just like you can read on the bottom of the Google Search page online, where they claim that Google has been "Carbon neutral since 2007".

However, in order for anyone or any company to claim that they are carbon neutral, that means that they already overproduce carbon waste products. In order to achieve a negotiated level of Carbon neutrality, the overproducer of Carbon must purchase a balance of anti-carbon footprint credits from someone else. According to Bloomberg those credits can be falsified.

Check out this Google search of the carbon neutral topic. It is very interesting reading.

AA, OA, NA, and All the Anonymous Programs Know This Truth About Sin and Choice

From having had decades of conversations with many people from various Anonymous Programs, I know that they know this basic truth of life, that one cannot escape the basic nature of one's being, though one can choose to act differently from one's self-destructive nature. AA, OA, NA, and all the rest know that no person can choose to live a constructive life based on wishful thinking, if one refuses to invest herself/himself in tangible action that is different from what one has been doing self-destructively. Feelings, history, politics, preferences, lust, predilections, peer pressure, and circumstances all have no bearing on changing one's behavior. Personal behavior change is a choice that only you or I can control. No one else, no religion, not even our oversized government, can change us, but we ourselves. Equally true, as someone once put it, the definition of insanity is to keep repeating the same unproductive or self-destructive behavior while expecting different results after each repetition of the same behavior.

I make this point because there is a lot of finger-pointing going on in our present world, and especially in the USA, whereby millions of people and many special interest groups are hell-bent on having their own way with society, but refusing to acknowledge eternal and historical truths that have been recorded and passed down to save us from having to repeat the mistakes of others, in the past. Some have insisted on tearing down statues or dumping books and rewriting histories to suit their own desires about what they want said. As long as any of us insist on letting any of our natural inclinations, unsavory history, our lusts, or our feelings drive how we get along in society, then was shall condemn ourselves to repeat the pain from which history and the recordings of our forebears would deliver us, including the Word of God, known as the Bible (I recommend the King James Bible). God is especially honest with us, more than any other historian, for God shows the strengths and weaknesses of even the most celebrated of those whom he put into positions of responsibility, down through the biblical record. By contrast, most of humanity wants to ignore the One Holy God but to worship sinful mankind and gloss over human failure.

I used to know, before he died, a very diligent man (a sinner like myself) who was challenged to prove the Bible wrong on any point he chose. Being an amateur historian, this man, Ron, collected all manner of histories, commentaries, Encyclopedia Britannica, science articles, and a host of sources by which he, as an ardent unbeliever and researcher, sought to disprove the Bible. Every time he read something he did not like in the Bible he'd research all available materials and sources to try to find flaws in God's Word. But, instead of supporting Ron's unbelief, all his research did was to tear down the lies on which he had been raised and turn Ron to agree with everything that the Bible says. That research project led Ron to trust the Bible and the Christ of God, Jesus, for the salvation that God offers to all humanity. IF we but lay our self-deceptions, false science, and false religion aside, and we examine and prove all things, by the voluminous evidence that God has left for us to acknowledge about His Deity, His Creation, our sin natures, and His only path of redemption, then we, like Ron, shall come to know, love, and trust God's Christ. Sadly, most people would rather follow the lies of the things, cultures, and religions that enslave them, rather than to be set free to see and do things God's way in Christ.

We shall all answer for how we each respond to the evidentiary call that God has put out there for us to examine and from which to deduce our conclusions about our need for a holy relationship with Him and His Christ. God is NOT going to excuse anyone for having rejected nor neglected His evidence, nor for ignoring nor despising His Christ. He says that we are "without excuse". So, I return to my initial premise that has undergirded the conflicts, savagery, cruelty, destruction, and selfish interest of mankind, that our sin nature must be dealt with by each and every soul, or else we shall suffer the consequences that God promises. "God is not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance." However, the contrary nature of our sin wants only to seek self satisfaction (which never really happens), unless we choose to be satisfied God's way. Furthermore, unless we choose to repent of our sin and accept and receive  God's salvation in Christ Jesus, by faith, we shall have condemned ourselves to eternal solitary misery.

Please do the research of history and the Bible for yourself. Stop being lazy or relying on the popular lies about God and the Bible. God is going to hold you accountable for the choice you make about this. The choice is yours, so choose wisely, not based on culture, religion, peer pressure, religiosity, lust, greed, not by false science's religious mantra about faith in a big bang or evolution. I did all that, too, until I started reading and researching the truth of life's evidences and history and the Bible, for myself. Now, like Ron, I, too, am a Bible believer and have trusted Jesus Christ as my only hope and Savior. I now can see that I do not have to repeat the lusts, sins, and errors of prior generations. I do not have to live as a slave to my own flesh. With Christ living in me, "the hope of glory", I can live in joy and confidence each day, in God's only and very simple plan of salvation, no matter what happens in this life. You can, too.

Media, Blue Horizons' Launch, Life Forms In Space, and Killing Unborn Babies

It is with great sorrow and concern for humanity that I listen to the pop media banter about Blue Horizon's successful launch and return of their human payload this morning. Not only is civilian incursion into space being discussed, but also a more energetic exploration for life forms in space. One commentator passingly touched on defining life forms. Humanity is drunk with self-defined success and dreams of what we can do and where we can go.

By contrast, here is God's definition of success, a word that He only uses once in His written Word.

Joshua 1:8
This book of the law shall not depart out of thy mouth; but thou shalt meditate therein day and night, that thou mayest observe to do according to all that is written therein: for then thou shalt make thy way prosperous, and then thou shalt have good success.

We are increasingly pushing God away and seeking our own secular humanistic way of doing things, because we do not wish to be accountable to the Self-existent One who created us. We lust for freedom as long as it is for us and without responsibility. But, we need to acknowledge who made "all this".

Genesis 1:1
In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth.

Psalm 121:2
My help cometh from the LORD, which made heaven and earth.

Yet, humanity is chasing its own philosophies and religions, including self-worship, while refusing to give credit to our Creator. Just as we reject God Almighty and choose our self-centered ways, humanity dreams and seeks arduously for life forms and intelligence in space, willing to call anything 'life' that titillates our fantacy and fancy. \

As we egregiously abhor and attack the very life that God gives to us here on Earth, we butcher tens of millions upon tens of millions of unborn babies right here in the USA, without even counting how many around the world. We refuse to acknowledge that God says life is sacred and begins with conception.

Isaiah 49:5
5  And now, saith the LORD that formed me from the womb to be his servant, to bring Jacob again to him, Though Israel be not gathered, yet shall I be glorious in the eyes of the LORD, and my God shall be my strength.

Jeremiah 1:5
5  Before I formed thee in the belly I knew thee; and before thou camest forth out of the womb I sanctified thee, and I ordained thee a prophet unto the nations.

We deceive ourselves into allowing women to slay their unborn young, all for convenience and/or health of the mother, without regard for consequences, temporal or eternal. We don't want to believe that we are accountable to anyone for our murder of these children.

How is it that humanity has grown so selfish and cold that we are willing to call hints of space viruses or bacteria life, but we reject and murder the growing life inside a mother's womb? Those growing unborn babies are unique and distinct living entities separate from the mother's biology. The womb is separate from the child's umbilical system that interfaces with the mother, but the interlaced tendrils of the womb and placenta are still two separate systems, though they interchange nutrients, oxygen, and wastes. To say that a babe in the womb is part of the mother is like saying that an astronaut is part of a spaceship. Both examples contain pairs of distinct entities with distinctly different systems.

We call ourselves civilized, but we idolize self, money, convenience, lust, greed, fear, doubt,  adventure, and we collectively choose to try to exist without the one and only real God who made all of Creation. Our modern societies are no different from any pagan culture that ever did the same things. The old religions used to sacrifice their children to wood, stone, or metal idols. We do the very same thing, but claim that ideas and convenience are not idols. You be the judge of that, now, for God shall judge us all for it.

Our technologies do not make us better people, for we commit the same sins that have always been committed since Adam and Eve. What our technologies do is make it easier for us to deceive ourselves about who we really are and what we are really like. We worship our technologies and allow ourselves to feel good about ourselves when we should be repenting of our sinful practices and our rebellion against God Almighty.

Did They Die By Fire or By Flood?

I've been watching numerous YouTube videos about the ideas, hypotheses, and research of Dr. Mary Schweitzer regarding soft tissue evidence she's found in multiple dinosaur bones from different geological sites in different countries; also, Dr. Steve Austin's theories, research, and observations about cataclysmic events and geological change, deposition, erosion, and fossilization (his hypotheses being confirmed by the explosion of Mt. St. Helens and the aftermath thereof).

For over a hundred years, popular Darwinian and geological gradualism (developed by Hutton and refined by Lyell) had posited that rock layers supposedly proved the age of the fossils contained in those rock layers, and conversely, that the fossils supposedly proved the age of the rocks containing the fossils. Those gradualistic rationales form a circular conundrum that flies in the face of geological and paleontological evidences, because the fossil-strata interrelationships, within respective geological columns, vary greatly from one location to another around the Earth, as if different masons were mixing cement with differing techniques on different parts of the same job site. The differences in the mixtures of various strata point to differences in rates of mixing and different proportions of water to dry material being combined. Austin speaks of that in particular with regard to mudslide consistency, deposition, and erosion, during and after the 20th century Mt. St. Helens catastrophe.

Besides evolutionary and gradualistic conflict with God's biblical record of history, some evolution-oriented researchers have come to recognize the conflicts within gradualistic paradigms and hypotheses. Those observant enough to notice such ideological and scientific conflicts have shifted their attention, hypotheses, and research to a more cataclysmic view of geological and paleontological events, to try to explain the disappearance of dinosaurs, the carving out of things like the Grand Canyon, the rapid growth of mountain ranges, and the worldwide flood of which the Bible speaks. Often their ideas are based more on what-ifs, doubts, and maybe, instead of sticking to observable scientific facts.

The extinction of dinosaurs is a popular topic in certain circles. A great cataclysm or series of cataclysms (such as asteroid bombardment of the Earth) have increasingly replaced the gradualistic paradigm as the cause of dinosaur extinction, but still most evolutionary-minded scientists still fight the idea of God's testimony of a worldwide flood. The great failure of the bombardment cataclysm hypothesis is that most popularized fossils that are trotted out for the public are not severely damaged fragments but whole or partial skeletal remains. On those fossils, there is no evidence of widespread explosive or fiery damage to the masses of fossils found. On the contrary, soft tissue within fossilized bones, as well as, fossilized imprints of delicate tissues of small creatures are not charred, nor deformed beyond recognition by external forces. Instead, the fossils are entrapped in sedentary rock that was once water-borne mud or sand, as evidenced by the fact that said fossils retain exquisite, easily recognizable detail with which even lay observers of the fossils might identify creatures of particular types of animals, insects, or fish, etc. This last fact of paleontological preservation strongly supports a rapid watery burial with sedimentary entrapment of the creatures, as opposed to asteroid-precipitated or fiery cataclysms that are so popularly cited in movies, nature shows, and museums, today.

Well-preserved delicate soft tissue and soft tissue within bony fossils of large, medium, and minute creatures are all found within sedimentary rock layers around the world. Worldwide watery burial agrees with God's biblical record, that many call Noah's Flood. There are hundreds of cultural flood stories that branched across the world. Those resulted from the dispersal of the descendants of Noah, his wife, their three sons and the sons' wives (eight people who multiplied into the different cultures, languages, and nations, out of the biological genetic diversity that was in Noah's family). Despite some detail differences among those cross-cultural flood stories, the commonality is that they all speak of a totally destructive worldwide flood from which a new start began. That basic commonality agrees with God's record of Noah's family's survival. God said that He would make a short work of this Creation, not billions or millions of years. Jesus said that the last days were already starting when He walked this Earth during His ministry leading up to His crucifixion and resurrection.

Those who reject the worldwide flood often reject God's Authority and His claim that He holds His Word in higher esteem than His Name. If we do not or cannot trust God's Word as He gave it to humanity to write down, then we have no hope of anything. That kind of hopeless existence is what Satan relies on to break the spirit of humanity and destroy our hope of a true relationship with God Almighty and God's Christ, despite God's promise that His Christ came to set us free from our burden of sin. If we follow Satan's spirit of doubt, and live by, "Yea, hath God said?", then we shall eternally suffer as Satan and his minions shall suffer in pain, loneliness, and darkness. That suffering is NOT what God wants for humanity. Therefore, Jesus came in a human body as sinless the Christ of God, to live sinlessly, to take our sin upon Himself, to shed His perfect blood and die in our place, then  to rise from the dead on the third day, exactly as He promised in both the Old and New Testaments. He did that to give us eternal life with Him, IF we are willing to humble ourselves, repent of our sin, call sin what God calls it, and receive by faith the risen Christ of God into our lives. He promises to save all who will do this and call upon Him. He promises to never leave nor forsake us, because we have stepped from unholy sin and darkness into God's light of redemption that only He can guarantee because He comes into us to dwell within, "...Christ in you, the hope of glory." That is not religion nor can religiosity acquire that for you, "...it is the gift of God, lest any man should boast."

God bless you to choose God's Word and God's Christ. Always test and prove all things in life by His Word. Don't try to mold God into your image or to manipulate Him to do what you wish he'd do to let you get away with your sin. He is not a toy nor a magic lantern to be rubbed at our whim. Jesus said, "Ye must be born again.", and that by the Holy Spirit of the Self-existent Eternal God of Creation, not by the works of the law nor the works of man.

I pray that you turn away from your own ways and the ways of the world, and rather that you choose God and His ways to save you. Let Him live and work in your life.

When We Bow To and Follow Our Idols, We Deny The One Real God

Psalm 115:1-8
1 Not unto us, O LORD, not unto us, but unto thy name give glory, for thy mercy, and for thy truth's sake.
2 Wherefore should the heathen say, Where is now their God?
3 But our God is in the heavens: he hath done whatsoever he hath pleased.
4 Their idols are silver and gold, the work of men's hands.
5 They have mouths, but they speak not: eyes have they, but they see not:
6 They have ears, but they hear not: noses have they, but they smell not:
7 They have hands, but they handle not: feet have they, but they walk not: neither speak they through their throat.
8 They that make them are like unto them; so is every one that trusteth in them.

From God's point of view, it is no small wonder that our cultures are in such chaos these days. We have mostly thrown God away and we are following false gods and idols, whether those are things, people, institutions, creatures, or ideas. When we seek, consult, and trust any of those, before we consult and depend on the Lord of Creation, the Self-existent One, God Almighty, then we are idolizing and uplifting those things and basically saying that we trust our idols more than we trust in the Eternal God who made all things, and made us in His image. Chasing fun, selfish interests, intellectual ideas, or philosophies has a damaging effect on our lives and our relationship with God, also. Whenever we seek Him secondarily, we denigrate Him and elevate above Him the very people or things that He or we have created. Medicine and so-called science are no different than any of the other things, persons, or constructs to which we too often bow our hearts, minds, spirits, and lives.

We all need to repent of many things and seek God, ...His Christ, ...His only way of salvation... AND, we need to do it His way.

Critical Race Theory Is Nothing More Than Cain Vs Abel

Since the beginning of Human history, dictators, oppressors, the angry, the jealous, the self-absorbed, self-interested, and high-minded people have all sought ways to re-invent and elevate themselves artificially above the rest of humanity, especially in relation to those of whom they are jealous, or by whom they perceive themselves hurt or slighted. God hates jealousy for jealousy is not rooted in godly love nor in concern for our fellow humans. God despises our hatred of those around us. God despises rebelliousness.

God struck Moses sister with leprosy because his sister was griping about Moses marrying an Ethiopian woman. God struck rebels, whiners, and complainers with fire, illness, earthquakes, and serpent bites, and that was among His chosen people, Israel. He is no less concerned with the way the rest of us conduct ourselves toward Him and toward each other. If we learn nothing else from God's Word, we must learn that God affords us only one entitlement in life, the gift of being able to choose whether we will ourselves to accept and follow God and His ways, or to reject them. There is no greater decision that we shall ever face in life, and God lets us choose that. The consequences are eternally emancipating or eternally damning, for in our choice we determine our own eternal destiny.

Most people do not want to admit or look at the sin nature of their own flesh nor of their fellow Man, in order to judge righteous judgment. As many times as I have read God's Word, there are still times that I do not want to deal with my sin or my sin nature. THAT is why I must accept and trust God's only Savior. Most people try to avoid admitting or dealing with their sin and their sin nature. But, God does not overlook our sinful ways, as we strive to hatefully claw our way over each other. Those who despise God's self-sacrificing ways force themselves to look for superficial ways by which to try to distance their own personal sin from the sin of others against whom they rant or from whom they are segregating themselves morally, socially, politically, and spiritually. God's Word points out that all too often we say we love God, whom we have not seen, when we really hate our fellow humans whom we have seen. We make ourselves into liars when we make claims like that. God does not tolerate self-justification, for we are all without excuse when we sin.

All human beings are made in God's image and therefore no different from one another in most aspects of our lives. Yes, God gives each of us genetic differences and allows us to be born into different cultures and life conditions, within the framework of Humanity, but none of us are any better than any other person, to God. To God, none of us are racially inferior or superior to any other person. We can all interbreed and are answerable to God for whether we live up to or reject His Word and His standards of living. He says, "there is none righteous, no not one." And, He calls all of us to repentance and faith in Him and His plan of salvation. Racial superiority and inferiority are nonsense for God, alone, is our Creator, Master, Father, Judge, and Redeemer. The One whom He has appointed shall judge us by His Word, whether that judgment comes sooner or later. It shall be accomplished. God's promises cannot be broken, though Humanity desperately tries to find ways around what God says.

Who do we dare to think that we are, elevating ourselves above others? We are NOT God. Who do we think we are, as we denigrate others? We are NOT God. To God, our attempts to manipulate our perceived relative position in relation to other people is selfish and hateful, because we attempt to distance ourselves from the rest of humanity, whether or not they have wronged us. Why are we NOT as tolerant with others in the same way that we want God to be tolerant of us? Do we think God is blowing hot air when He commands us to love our neighbors as we love ourselves? If we eagerly want and seek "entitlements" should we not be equally eager to see all the rest of Humanity receiving "entitlements"?

God's Word says, we have all sinned and come short of the glory of God. Yet, in His great love for us, He sent His only begotten Son to live the only sinless life, to then suffer, bleed to death, die, and rise from the dead to set us free, if we will simply choose to believe in and on His Savior. By those merciful things, God demonstrates His godly love, and for that purpose God created and calls all of humanity, NOT to the hatred and self-absorption in which most people wallow as they try to make sense of events and feelings in life. The only Gift from God to which all Humanity is entitled, if we shall will ourselves to accept and receive it, is God's Savior and the salvation that is in Him alone.

This is NOT a polemic against any particular group, but a call to all humanity to repent of our personal and collective sin before it is too late to repent. God only gives us this one life in which to choose or reject His Word, His ways, His Savior, and His salvation. He has offered us Himself and a home with Him. It is now up to each of us to decide what we want our lives to be based on and where we want to spend eternity. Our acceptance or rejection of God's promises determines our destiny. Those who feel powerful should be greatly humbled by God's offer. Those who feel powerless should be greatly emboldened by God's offer.

Below are links with more biblical information about how you can move from a life of antipathy toward our fellow humans to a life of selfless service to God, our Creator and eternal King. God bless you to choose Him, His Word, and His ways.

Who is the one true God?

What is God's one plan of salvation?

Where can I find God's reliable eternal Word and promises?

Human Solutions Seem Good, But God's Are Better

Psalm 108:12
Give us help from trouble: for vain is the help of man.

God allows us to pursue all manner of research and knowledge. But, are we really pursuing what pleases Him?

Joshua 1:8 defines what God means by success.

God leaves the choice up to us, as He points out in John 3 and in Luke 16, whether we want to accept His ways or reject them. We only get one life in which to make this choice.
