Look unto me, and be ye saved, all the ends of the earth: for I am God, and there is none else.

Isaiah 52:10
The LORD hath made bare his holy arm in the eyes of all the nations; and all the ends of the earth shall see the salvation of our God.

The End Is Near... for Someone...

The end IS near, for someone... maybe even someone near and dear to us. The question is where they shall spend eternity, for we all live forever, one place or another. Yet, none of us knows the day or hour when we or they shall go into eternity, either saved from our sin, and their sin, or lost in it. Are we going to turn away our eyes and hearts from their impending eternal destruction and let them perish without Christ? How can we say we love anyone if we fail to tell them God's truth? God says that our neglect shall bring their blood upon us, IF we do not warn them. Or are we going to share with them God's message of His ONLY plan of redemption, through the Lord Jesus Christ? Though many people love to argue religion, God says that there is only one Way, one Truth, and one Life, that He has ever validated, ...by which we must be saved.

2 Timothy 3:1-17
¹  This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come.

⁵  Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away.
⁶  For of this sort are they which creep into houses, and lead captive silly women laden with sins, led away with divers lusts,
⁷  Ever learning, and never able to come to the knowledge of the truth.

Seven Things God Hates. How To Avoid Them.

Proverbs 6:12-19: The seven things that God hates:
¹²  A naughty person, a wicked man, walketh with a froward mouth.
¹³  He winketh with his eyes, he speaketh with his feet, he teacheth with his fingers;
¹⁴  Frowardness is in his heart, he deviseth mischief continually; he soweth discord.

¹⁶  These six things doth the LORD hate: yea, seven are an abomination unto him:

Oxford University Says "Political Correctness" Dumbing Down USA

A recent commentary by Oxford University observes that "political correctness" is dumbing down US history and US minds. If you doubt the accuracy of that allegation, I highly suggest that the reader investigate the Google Search results in the following link. The stated comments are historically accurate and have great historical significance and weight. Historical significance and weight carry with them the value of observation that has often been achieved at great personal pain or loss. That former pain or loss of our forefathers can lead us and lend to us a great potential for learning... IF "we, the people" wish to learn and grow constructively, as individuals and as a society. However, in modern US society, there is, in certain highly vocal circles, far more desire to live in fear of offending others than there is desire to tell the truth and set the record straight.

Minimum Wage Clamor Insults Military Personnel

Ever wonder why our Commander-in-Chief, and his cronies, would want to gut our military of highly qualified and trained personnel that work their tails off, including laying down their lives and limbs on our behalf?

Why would our President allow the self-sacrificing military to be paid such meager wages per hour for their service to our Nation, working all sorts of hours for a flat monthly rate, yet, at the same time the President clamors to force employers to pay higher than military pay to people who have most likely never laid their lives on the line for anyone?

SO... Who Does NOT Like The Bible?

Ever ask yourself why so many people don't like God's Word, the Bible, or even seem to hate it?

Hebrews 4:11-13:
11 Let us labour therefore to enter into that rest, lest any man fall after the same example of unbelief.
12 For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any twoedged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.
13 Neither is there any creature that is not manifest in his sight: but all things are naked and opened unto the eyes of him with whom we have to do.

The people who disdain God's Word do so for pretty much all of these reasons:

A. In Verse 11, God tells us that our deeds demonstrate where we put our faith, proving that people's actions lead them to choose unbelief: thereby they fall to their own destruction.

B. Verse 12 tells us of the amazing supernatural power and work that the Word of God can and does accomplish, as it strives to waken us to our sins, leading us to discern truth, so that we can admit our need for God and His plan of salvation in our lives.

C. Lastly, Verse 13 tells us, especially in light of the other two verses, there is absolutely nothing hidden from God, nor from His day of reckoning and accountability that all of us shall face.

Now is the time to choose to turn away from the torments of the world and sin, to call upon God, to turn to God's salvation and to His Christ.

Our Sin HAS Consequences

Lamentations 1:12-14

12. Is it nothing to you, all ye that pass by? behold, and see if there be any sorrow like unto my sorrow, which is done unto me, wherewith the LORD hath afflicted me in the day of his fierce anger.

13. From above hath he sent fire into my bones, and it prevaileth against them: he hath spread a net for my feet, he hath turned me back: he hath made me desolate and faint all the day.

14. The yoke of my transgressions is bound by his hand: they are wreathed, and come up upon my neck: he hath made my strength to fall, the Lord hath delivered me into their hands, from whom I am not able to rise up.

 

...and yet, God offers each of us hope, forgiveness, and peace with Him, IF we repent.
