Do NOT take my word for what the above title asserts. Do your own research into what all these linked sources are saying about the issue. From Greenpeace to Bloomberg, everyone with any sense of realistic accounting and accountability is challenging the popular misconception of trying to balance atmospheric carbon by human means: fallacy of carbon neutrality - Google Search. In truth, they are fighting against God-created natural processes.
Furthermore, few proponents of human-driven climate change theories are willing to look seriously at how fossil fuels (gas, oil, and coal, which are carbon based) all were deposited beneath major areas of the world that have been under ice and permafrost for millenia. All those deposits of the alleged Carboniferous Era had to come from unimaginable volumes carbon-based living tissue: how did arctic fossil fuel deposits form - Google Search. Many modern entities recognize the existence of Arctic fossil fuel deposits, but most of them only look at the deposits from a uniformitarian or gradualistic evolutionary frame of reference. They do not want to believe that all the masses of carbon-based tissue were killed off and deposited at the same time, by cataclysm.
God says that He created the Earth and everything in it in seven days (Genesis). Throughout the Bible, God says that He shall make a short work of this current world and its systems, but, for now, He's letting the Earth and humanity run their present course, so that all sin shall be exposed for what it is and then dealt with in God's final Judgment. God's Word speaks of Creation and cataclysmic events that have followed Creation. Most cultures in the world have cataclysmic event stories that parallel the Bible's testimony. Given that God says that Noah and only seven other people got off the Ark, after the worldwide cataclysmic Flood, that explains the commonality of the stories' roots, despite the localized differences in details from culture to culture, locale to locale. What should greatly concern any thinking person is the commonality with what God says, not the deviations from what God says. Increasing numbers of modern scientists and critical thinkers, who used to be evolutionists and gradualists (Creation Research Society Quarterly, as well as many other similar groups), have recognized, for decades, the body of empirical evidence of fossil deposits, geological formations and processes, geophysical cataclysms, solar and celestial influences, over which humanity has zero control.
Most people usually don't like major change in their lives. We usually seek to maintain the status quo. That's a huge reason why people do not want to intelligently discuss the world that existed prior to the Ice Ages: our fleshly desires are at war with our human history and with geological history. We want what we want and we do not seem to care what self-delusion or lies we have to believe in order to think that we are not simply watching Earth history repeat or unwind itself.
The great irony of today's "politically correct" climate change panic is that most people seem too willing to take responsibility for things over which they have little or no control, like Divine or geological cataclysms that drive the carbon cycle that God created. But, those same folks are often totally unwilling to take responsibility for their own sinful actions that go directly against how God tells us to live and behave.
I am not saying that humanity has zero impact on our environment, but it is superficial compared to solar, astronomical, or geological events. What I'm saying is that people love to be allowed to keep practicing their own favorite sins and that most folks will look for self-justifying ways to accomplish their own sinful objectives. Given the distributions and densities of human populations, we can readily see that people congregate in self-serving clusters that have little or no regard for the environs about them. From Cain killing his brother Abel, throughout all the wars, including Russia's current imperialistic war against Ukraine, virtually every war has been fought to sinfully promote one group of people over another, or as retaliation for that having been done to some group of people. The premise and practice of Net Zero and Carbon Neutrality has taken warfare to another level, whereby one environmentally incontinent group raids other environmentally efficient groups, so that the inefficient gluttonous aggressor can claim to be neutral in its consumptive practices, and it gets approved in the name of political and environmental "correctness". The same is true of every other sin that we commit against God and against our fellow human beings. It's evil warring against that which is good.
My friend, no one can dodge the payday for their earthly behaviors, no matter how they try to hide behind someone else. God sees all and shall judge all. The only exception and escape, in all history, that shall ever be given to us, is that which has been already given to us by God Almighty in the Person of His only begotten Son, Jesus Christ.
Most of the people in this world, including modern politics and science, have little use for God's Christ, who volunteered His own body and blood to pay for our sin. While people try to play God with the climate, God calls us to repent of our sin and to honor the one-time sacrifice of Jesus Christ as He took our punishment upon Himself. Please repent of your sin and receive the living, risen Christ of God into your life, that you may receive life eternal and everlasting peace, no matter what happens to this planet or on it. God bless you to judge righteous judgment and to discern and choose, for yourself, good over evil.
