Religious Self-justification or Just Plain Sin?

Religious Self-justification or Just Plain Sin?
Internet Exposes Islam's Historical Child Abuse, and God Exposes All Our Sin

By Craig M. Szwed

No matter what many people believe, most folks whom I've met around the world do not try to justify the sexual abuse of children. Most people I've known try to protect children from harm. Yet, there are many cultures, like official historical Islam, that incorporate mechanisms for child abuse within their founding documents, and as they emulate their earthly founders' lives.

While the Bible says, "For all have sinned and come short of the glory of God.", and we know that Christ Jesus was crucified, bled, died, and rose again the third day from the dead, in order to redeem us from all our sin, yet there are many who seek, by various means and belief systems, to justify their own sinful, ungodly lusts and behaviors. We must repent of our sin and accept Jesus Christ, or we shall die eternally without Christ, in the Lake of Fire, because we neglected His Word (John 12:48).

Many may cry foul because I've shared a video exposing religious justification of the sexual abuse of children, yet God says to expose evil for what it is. This is but one such expose' on the internet, which is loaded with histories, news items, arguments, and monologues about the practice of child marriage, particularly pedophilia. Yet, there are still far too many people who would excuse the practice simply because their founders were fond of having sex with children. Disgusted? So am I!

While I urge truth seekers to judge the video information for themselves, its language is graphic and difficult, for any soul with a conscience. Many things said and discussed in the video shall shock and anger the 'normal' viewer. Some images surrounding the main screen are also suggestive or risque'. I urge the viewer to look to and ask Jesus Christ for protection and guidance before watching the video. I urge Bible-believing Christians to be aware of this issue, that we not be surprised when the topic arises in discussions about Islam.

James 4:1-10 (KJV) 1From whence come wars and fightings among you? come they not hence, even of your lusts that war in your members? 2Ye lust, and have not: ye kill, and desire to have, and cannot obtain: ye fight and war, yet ye have not, because ye ask not.
3Ye ask, and receive not, because ye ask amiss, that ye may consume it upon your lusts. 4Ye adulterers and adulteresses, know ye not that the friendship of the world is enmity with God? whosoever therefore will be a friend of the world is the enemy of God. 5Do ye think that the scripture saith in vain, The spirit that dwelleth in us lusteth to envy? 6But he giveth more grace. Wherefore he saith, God resisteth the proud, but giveth grace unto the humble.
7Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you. 8Draw nigh to God, and he will draw nigh to you. Cleanse your hands, ye sinners; and purify your hearts, ye double minded. 9Be afflicted, and mourn, and weep: let your laughter be turned to mourning, and your joy to heaviness. 10Humble yourselves in the sight of the Lord, and he shall lift you up.

All that said, let us not forget that our western culture is just as, if not more, corrupted by lust. Look at our sexually and sensually suggestive and explicit advertising! Look at the way people wear nothing or almost no clothing on our beaches, while they would be embarrassed to be so scantily clad on the street or at work! Look at much of our everyday attire that is designed around sexual posturing and enticement! Look at our many forms of music and entertainment that flaunt and exploit sex and fornication as if those were nothing more than candy for children!

Even many of us who call ourselves Christians still continue to practice ungodly and unholy things, as we disdain the commandments of God's Word, including our passion for many so-called Old Testament sins that Jesus Christ taught against, namely the many forms of idolatry that we practice, starting with self-indulgence, selfishness, and hypocritical judgment. Christ Himself said,

Matthew 5:17-20 (KJV) 17Think not that I am come to destroy the law, or the prophets: I am not come to destroy, but to fulfil. 18For verily I say unto you, Till heaven and earth pass, one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass from the law, till all be fulfilled. 19Whosoever therefore shall break one of these least commandments, and shall teach men so, he shall be called the least in the kingdom of heaven: but whosoever shall do and teach them, the same shall be called great in the kingdom of heaven. 20For I say unto you, That except your righteousness shall exceed the righteousness of the scribes and Pharisees, ye shall in no case enter into the kingdom of heaven.

All the teachings of Christ were reiterated by His apostles, yet we pick and choose what we personally want to hear, see, and do of God's will, expecting to be blessed just because we say that we believe in one God or His Christ. We are delusional, for God has clearly and repeatedly stated that if we really are His children by faith, then we shall be chastened for any and all disobedience in which we rebel against His Law and His teachings.

Besides modern society's rejection of biblical authority and truth, one huge failing in our lusty western culture is that in almost every aspect of our lives, from our youth to our aged, we continually indulge and excuse sexual intimacies, fornication, and sensuality outside of marriage. Jesus warned us all about this very explicitly,

Matthew 5:27-30 (KJV) 27Ye have heard that it was said by them of old time, Thou shalt not commit adultery: 28But I say unto you, That whosoever looketh on a woman to lust after her hath committed adultery with her already in his heart. 29And if thy right eye offend thee, pluck it out, and cast it from thee: for it is profitable for thee that one of thy members should perish, and not that thy whole body should be cast into hell. 30And if thy right hand offend thee, cut it off, and cast it from thee: for it is profitable for thee that one of thy members should perish, and not that thy whole body should be cast into hell.

Luke 6:41-42 (KJV) 41And why beholdest thou the mote that is in thy brother's eye, but perceivest not the beam that is in thine own eye? 42Either how canst thou say to thy brother, Brother, let me pull out the mote that is in thine eye, when thou thyself beholdest not the beam that is in thine own eye? Thou hypocrite, cast out first the beam out of thine own eye, and then shalt thou see clearly to pull out the mote that is in thy brother's eye.

There is absolutely no excuse for the sin of child abuse, nor for any other sin. Therefore, before we get too eager to lash out at the Muslim community or anyone else, in our zeal to condemn or damn other people for their sins that are so obvious and offensive to us, we need to be sure that we are correctly judging our own sins that so greatly offend against God, as the Bible says our sins offend Him. We need to acknowledge our own sin before God and repent of it as HE has said we need to do: http://www.godssimpleplan.org/gsps.html. For if we do not repent of our own sin while we judge others, we shall bring greater condemnation upon ourselves because we have dismissed our own sin while we try to meddle with the sins of others.
