Connecticut: Enslaving Future Generations for Today's Lusts

Even a quick look at the following link should immediately provoke all reasonable people to say, “We, our children, our grandchildren, and all our family, do NOT have that kind of money to bail out all the State of Connecticut's spending, and we shall not allow this kind of financial chaos to continue!”

As citizens of Connecticut, we MUST STOP expecting, tolerating, and asking for our State government to keep authorizing the excessive expenditures that we, the citizens, have historically allowed our government to vote into law. Excessive expenditures are those that go beyond the current generation's ability to pay for them. Such excesses of government grievously increase the financial burden on all of us, and, by default, enslave us and our offspring. Even as we now pay for the financial excesses of past regimes, if current fiscal practices continue unchecked, many generations to come will be paying for today’s governmental excesses, a very unhealthy financial cycle that is doomed to lead to utter bankruptcy, even as it would if we ran our household finances that way.

When are citizen taxpayers going to get tired of letting themselves be robbed of their livelihoods? When will citizens begin working together to fix this issue, starting with saying and demanding, “No More!”?

It is high time for all Connecticut citizens to get actively involved in restraining our top heavy, financially irresponsible government from the financially destructive excesses which the voters keep allowing the government to keep inflicting on the taxpayers of this State. It is high time for all Connecticut citizens to do their constitutional duty, to  actively and personally hold all government officials fully accountable for everything that they do in office. We MUST require that our State be operated wholly according to the Law of our Constitution AND without indenturing the financial futures of our progeny.
