4 And it came to pass after this, that there arose war at Gezer with the Philistines; at which time Sibbechai the Hushathite slew Sippai, that was of the children of the giant: and they were subdued.
5 And there was war again with the Philistines; and Elhanan the son of Jair slew Lahmi the brother of Goliath the Gittite, whose spear staff was like a weaver's beam.
6 And yet again there was war at Gath, where was a man of great stature, whose fingers and toes were four and twenty, six on each hand, and six on each foot: and he also was the son of the giant.
7 But when he defied Israel, Jonathan the son of Shimea David's brother slew him.
8 These were born unto the giant in Gath; and they fell by the hand of David, and by the hand of his servants.

Over and over, in the Bible and history, IF we study them, we can see that bullies, giants, and sin all fall to those who determine to do the righteousness in which God tells humanity to abide. Those who rely on God's Word and truly believe on the LORD and His Christ, then desire to turn to God's Word and Christ, in repentance and faith, and are promised life eternal. That life with God and His only Christ, His only Savior, is an eternally blessed life of beauty, light, and joy, forever.
Without that repentance and faith, the rest, who deceive themselves by habitually enticing themselves with false religions and choosing to practice sin, fail to overcome sin's ravages. Those who have chosen this latter path of sin and its temporal fulfillments are promised eternal consciousness and eternal suffering in which they shall forever agonizingly regret their wasted lives.
Today, by God's mercy and grace, you can overcome your sin by turning to Jesus Christ, instead of remaining lost in sin and letting it weigh you down for eternity.
