As one reads their writings and comments, it quickly becomes obvious that most of them held that it is the responsibility of each individual citizen to be the power of government, and that government can and should only rule, justly, as it is LENT the personal power and directives of the People. Our Founders writings show that they were concerned that government should act to centralize and focus power and agency ONLY so long as those agents of governmental were focused on following the moral, logical, financial, and responsible mores, dictates, and plans of "We, the People", without infringement on other citizens of these United States of America. That is why our Constitution and Bill of Rights exist, AND why we MUST stick to their original language and intents. Those Documents give us a common language with which to convers and hammer out the difficulties of living together.
Adherence to one set of rules means that we must agree to treat each other the same, regardless of who we are. Those who reject that premise attack the basic Principles and Objectives on which our Nation was founded. It is especially loathsome when certain individuals or groups try to undermine or twist the simple language of our Constitution to their own advantage, since their sought after twisted advantage infringes on the "Inalienable Rights" of other citizens. Our Constitution and Bill of Rights were crafted to set free from fear and enslavement, every law-abiding citizen; to protect, NOT encumber, law-abiding citizens.
Although it is interesting and provocative to discuss our Bill of Rights, and its Second Amendment, especially in this day and age when most of the world disdains the God of the Bible, and His Commandments, it is incumbent upon all honest persons that we remind ourselves that the US Bill of Rights, and especially the Second Amendment, go hand in hand
with God's biblical edicts, wherein, from the beginning of His discipline of humanity, GOD instituted the death penalty. Studious persons can discover that for themselves quite easily, by prayerfully reading the Bible. However, others continually choke on the cursory reading of God's Commandment, “Thou shalt not kill.”, as they fail to search and understand that the word "kill" in that context has NOTHING to do with self-defense, nor with the necessity to
execute evildoers. Rather, that word "kill" is refers, in context, to deliberate, premeditated murder for personal,
lustful, or pleasure reasons.
The Bible is loaded with examples where God tells
people and leaders to execute wrongdoers and evildoers, and those executions of evildoers are lauded and rewarded by God. Why? Because God knows what is best for us, even when we don't want to hear it. God has absolutes with which all of us MUST contend with ourselves and settle with Him, according to His Word (which He NEVER forgets, and NEVER changes, just as He does NOT change).
The biggest problem that the USA
faces, today, is that our leaders and people have largely abandoned God and His Word,
AND, in the place of God, His Word, and godly behavior, we, too often, provoke Him and one another
with worldly, secular, unbiblical, unconstitutional Clinton-speak, in favor of
allowing each other’s selfish, anti-social, and sinful behaviors to slide. We let others get away with evil things so that they will reciprocate when we sin. We dismiss God and His Word so that we can make believe that we do not have to give account to anyone for our vile behaviors.
BUT, every word and deed has consequences that result in the ignorant or deliberate dragging down
of the foundations on which a good and moral society can, should, and must be
built. The same is true of the impact of sin on our personal lives. Oh, we might think that we "get away" with some pet sin our whole lives, thinking that there is no "payday". BUT, it is time to stop deceiving ourselves and high time to repent of our sin that we might get our lives right with God Almighty, according to His plan of salvation and living. God bless you as you seek Him in truth, through His Word.
