Where Are Our Godly Leaders and Judges? If They Feared God, They Would Honor His Laws.

 2 Chronicles 19:4-7

4  And Jehoshaphat dwelt at Jerusalem: and he went out again through the people from Beersheba to mount Ephraim, and brought them back unto the LORD God of their fathers.
5 And he set judges in the land throughout all the fenced cities of Judah, city by city,
6  And said to the judges, Take heed what ye do: for ye judge not for man, but for the LORD, who is with you in the judgment.
7  Wherefore now let the fear of the LORD be upon you; take heed and do it: for there is no iniquity with the LORD our God, nor respect of persons, nor taking of gifts.

God says that the fear of the LORD is a good and righteous and holy thing in which we should live and learn and prosper in Him. Don't allow the world and worldly people to steer you away from God's ways, for they will surely tell you that God's ways are wrong and their ways are right, even as God said that they would do in the 'last days'.

What Does Luck Have To Do With Anything? Luck Doesn't Exist!

Tremendous numbers of people around the world believe in a superstition called "luck", instead of trusting the laws of probability or God's Word and intervention. They would rather give credit to something that doesn't exist, instead of giving God the credit and glory that He alone deserves for creating and overseeing all things. However, if one is willing to read the Bible, one can quickly see that there is no luck nor random chance, as humans usually think of these things. One quickly sees that God has put all things into motion according to His Laws and His Word, and that what He promises shall always happen in His timing.

2 Chronicles 18 is a great lesson and example for all of us. It's about two kings who were living life in contrast to one another and, yet, decided to go to war against a perceived common enemy. This fascinating historical account shows how these two kings fared, the one ignorantly trusting in chance, camouflage, and false gods, the other trusting in the Eternal Self-existent Almighty God who created all things (including humanity) for Himself, according to His ways. Read these Bible verses for yourself to learn which king survived the battle, historically, and why he survived, that you, too, might learn whether luck or the fulfillment of God's Word is the reality of this life.

God is the one who said that His plan is the only plan of salvation, and He alone is the only one who can guarantee it.

High Tech Social Media Creators Warn of Social Addiction and Chaos

I recently watched the Netflix “The Social Dilemma” documentary and discussion about social media that floods our computers and cell phones. Numerous people who have shaped how social media now works are interviewed in this documentary, saying that the algorithms that drive the social media apps are self-serving to addict users, glean as much personal info as possible, and to serve as means for the social media companies to sell as much targeted advertising as possible to the highest bidder, based on our personal info and our addiction time on their apps.

I HIGHLY recommend watching this discussion and warning, as it raises extremely serious issues about the dysfunctional money-driven way that we, the social media so-called “account users”, are mined as products for our most private and intimate information, time, and attention. Those interviewed further warn us that our information is converted into targeted intermittent reinforcement techniques to become captivating and polarizing influences in our lives, our societies, and worldwide, because they make more money when people are polarized, tribalized, and at each other's throats socially, just as weapons manufacturers and dealers have known and fostered social discord for eons.

In the documentary, former developers of these social media apps put great stress and urgency on how they, themselves, do not fully understand how the artificial intelligence (machine intelligence) successfully and selectively teaches itself to target the weakest, most addictive, and most divisive aspects of an individual media user's personality. The correlation between the advent of high tech social media and rapidly increasing social unrest, personal addiction to social media, suicide, and other societally dysfunctional behaviors are not random nor merely coincidental.

To paraphrase one speaker, if every user is fed different information to addict us to the media and maximize the monetary gain of the social app corporations, and each of us comes, thereby, to be so dysfunctionally influenced by artificial intelligence manipulated contrasting personal perceptions of what truth is supposed to be, without us having any real standard of truth, then we lose contact with any dominant apparent truth, which, in turn, breaks down all ability for us to truly communicate with anyone else, thus destroying the very fabric of responsible human social interaction, and especially blinding humanity to God's Truth.

Because of that worldly influence that strives to tear down Truth, I strenuously urge everyone, near and far, to test and prove all things, including what is on the internet, by the literal Word of God in the Bible, while the Bible is still available to us.

God bless you as you seek God’s truth.

Even Giants Fall To Determined Men

1 Chronicles 20:4-8
4 And it came to pass after this, that there arose war at Gezer with the Philistines; at which time Sibbechai the Hushathite slew Sippai, that was of the children of the giant: and they were subdued.
5 And there was war again with the Philistines; and Elhanan the son of Jair slew Lahmi the brother of Goliath the Gittite, whose spear staff was like a weaver's beam.
6 And yet again there was war at Gath, where was a man of great stature, whose fingers and toes were four and twenty, six on each hand, and six on each foot: and he also was the son of the giant.
7 But when he defied Israel, Jonathan the son of Shimea David's brother slew him.
8 These were born unto the giant in Gath; and they fell by the hand of David, and by the hand of his servants.

Over and over, in the Bible and history, IF we study them, we can see that bullies, giants, and sin all fall to those who determine to do the righteousness in which God tells humanity to abide. Those who rely on God's Word and truly believe on the LORD and His Christ, then desire to turn to God's Word and Christ, in repentance and faith, and are promised life eternal. That life with God and His only Christ, His only Savior, is an eternally blessed life of beauty, light, and joy, forever.

Without that repentance and faith, the rest, who deceive themselves by habitually enticing themselves with false religions and choosing to practice sin, fail to overcome sin's ravages. Those who have chosen this latter path of sin and its temporal fulfillments are promised eternal consciousness and eternal suffering in which they shall forever agonizingly regret their wasted lives.

Today, by God's mercy and grace, you can overcome your sin by turning to Jesus Christ, instead of remaining lost in sin and letting it weigh you down for eternity.

Our Works, Our Denial, and Ignoring Truth Won't Save Us: Only God's Christ, Jesus, Can Do It

1 Chronicles 10:13-14
13  So Saul died for his transgression which he committed against the LORD, even against the word of the LORD, which he kept not, and also for asking counsel of one that had a familiar spirit, to enquire of it;
14  And enquired not of the LORD: therefore he slew him, and turned the kingdom unto David the son of Jesse.

Worldly systems and philosophies of government and religions have never been a friend of God nor of His Word. Though there is much seeking after power and so-called spirituality, there is little seeking after what God says to us and wants of us. God has never been pleased with people going off to do "their own thing", instead of following what He has commanded. He tells us, ahead of time, what is good and evil. He tells us, ahead of time, the fruit and consequences of our choices, whether we choose to walk with Him or fight against Him. Even our neglect of Him, His Word, and His ways is a choice to attack His command.

Luke 10:27
And he answering said, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy strength, and with all thy mind; and thy neighbour as thyself.

He tells us, in Romans Chapter One, that all the natural world and its laws of nature show us, inexcusably, that God is God and that all things point to our need to heed Him and draw close to Him.

Therefore, since He has already given us His Word in the Bible, let us seek the Almighty Self-existent Eternal God, our Creator, in and through His only begotten son, His only Christ, Jesus of Nazareth, who, alone, led a sinless perfect life that He, alone, could shed His sinless blood and die for our sin, and then that He raised Himself from the dead on the third day, as He promised, according to the Scripture. His only plan of salvation is that all of us can and must turn to Him alone, in "repentance toward God and faith toward our Lord Jesus Christ", if we want to choose eternal life in God. Otherwise, we shall have chosen to die alone, forever, in conscious separation and torment. Please turn from your sin, now, and turn to God's only plan of salvation and He shall make you free from the bondage and burden of your sin and its eternal consequences.

Idolatry Pretends to Know God, But Doesn't Trust the Only Real God

When God tells us to fear and respect and love Him, we prove our love and allegiance by what we do, not just by what we say. It is one thing to fear someone in awe and respect and quite another to fear them out of terror of harm. God wants us to fear Him the first way for that leads us away from having to dread what He can and shall do if we don't obey what He has already told humanity in the Bible.

God has forbidden all idol worship, for idolatry of any kind proves that we are not in a right relationship with the Self-Existent One, the Eternal One, whether we worship self, things, or other people. Idols are anything we seek first, instead of taking our concerns and petitions directly to the One True God.

2 Kings 17:41
So these nations feared the LORD, and served their graven images, both their children, and their children's children: as did their fathers, so do they unto this day.

Those people were afraid of God because they did not want to know Him personally. They put worldly things and religious behaviors ahead of seeking God, and they continued deceiving themselves into thinking and acting as if their idols were gods, even after they were repeatedly told God's truth.

If you want peace and redemption from and with God Almighty, then please read His Word, the Bible. The Bible's books of John and Romans summarize many principles of what God wants for us and show us the way of His only plan of salvation.

Let the Pain of the Old Time Jews be a Lesson to Us

Dear friend,
Please, take heed to the lesson that God sets before us about the behavior of the Jews of Israel, in the old days, how they rebelled against Him and His Word, to lust after, worship, and do those things that God forbids. In our own day, we, collectively, have far exceeded the sinful excesses of Sodom, Gomorrah, and all the evils of yesteryear, for, collectively, we have institutionalized and many times legalized the abominations that God hates. Please, repent of your own evils. Seek God's Light and God's salvation, before it is too late for you.

2 Kings 17:7-23
7  For so it was, that the children of Israel had sinned against the LORD their God, which had brought them up out of the land of Egypt, from under the hand of Pharaoh king of Egypt, and had feared other gods,
8  And walked in the statutes of the heathen, whom the LORD cast out from before the children of Israel, and of the kings of Israel, which they had made.
9  And the children of Israel did secretly those things that were not right against the LORD their God, and they built them high places in all their cities, from the tower of the watchmen to the fenced city.
10  And they set them up images and groves in every high hill, and under every green tree:
11  And there they burnt incense in all the high places, as did the heathen whom the LORD carried away before them; and wrought wicked things to provoke the LORD to anger:
12  For they served idols, whereof the LORD had said unto them, Ye shall not do this thing.
13  Yet the LORD testified against Israel, and against Judah, by all the prophets, and by all the seers, saying, Turn ye from your evil ways, and keep my commandments and my statutes, according to all the law which I commanded your fathers, and which I sent to you by my servants the prophets.
14  Notwithstanding they would not hear, but hardened their necks, like to the neck of their fathers, that did not believe in the LORD their God.
15  And they rejected his statutes, and his covenant that he made with their fathers, and his testimonies which he testified against them; and they followed vanity, and became vain, and went after the heathen that were round about them, concerning whom the LORD had charged them, that they should not do like them.
16  And they left all the commandments of the LORD their God, and made them molten images, even two calves, and made a grove, and worshipped all the host of heaven, and served Baal.
17  And they caused their sons and their daughters to pass through the fire, and used divination and enchantments, and sold themselves to do evil in the sight of the LORD, to provoke him to anger.
18  Therefore the LORD was very angry with Israel, and removed them out of his sight: there was none left but the tribe of Judah only.
19  Also Judah kept not the commandments of the LORD their God, but walked in the statutes of Israel which they made.
20  And the LORD rejected all the seed of Israel, and afflicted them, and delivered them into the hand of spoilers, until he had cast them out of his sight.
21  For he rent Israel from the house of David; and they made Jeroboam the son of Nebat king: and Jeroboam drave Israel from following the LORD, and made them sin a great sin.
22  For the children of Israel walked in all the sins of Jeroboam which he did; they departed not from them;
23  Until the LORD removed Israel out of his sight, as he had said by all his servants the prophets. So was Israel carried away out of their own land to Assyria unto this day.

Each of us shall choose where we spend eternity, either by accepting God's Christ and repenting or by rejecting Him.
