Anger or Work? Which Solves Our Problems?

Many Bible preaching pastors and groups like CURE are working hard to encourage American citizens to get away from depending on the government, to take personal responsibility for their lives and actions before God Almighty, and to work together to overcome the sin and failures of American culture. Yet, some groups like these "Black Panthers" are still angrily teaching hate and violence against people that they call "pigs". Such angry venting is NOT limited to the "Black Panthers", but, that video did air on the internet, showing them openly and angrily chanting, so I'll stick to that focus. Anger is a feeling, and people are entitled to feel as they must about whatever happens in life. What we choose to do with anger is another matter. Anger left to itself is often self-destructive or inflammatory. Anger that is channeled into constructive action can fuel marvelous positive changes in our world.

I find it morally and socially ironic that the hate-mongering "Black Panthers", calling for "oink! oink! bang! bang!" in the following video, do not address their hatred and frustration against extreme socialistic revisionist politicians like Obama, the Clintons, and the Congressional Black Caucus. The President, Clintons, and the CBC have repeatedly and actively articulated the position that big liberal government knows best what is good for American citizens, promoting a "Big Daddy" image of themselves. Currently, the President and the CBC drool over how they will benefit themselves and their careers by keeping their constituents ignorant, frustrated, and dependent on state or federal welfare programs, indirectly paid voters, if you will, like so many government workers terrified of losing their government jobs if they fail to vote to sustain the growing behemoth of government.

Those in power continue to treat American citizens as their own ignorant, helpless slaves. From many sources, despite the flowery, glib speeches, President Obama, and many in the Liberal camps, have continued to perpetuate and practice a racist superior role in the master-slave mentality, far more actively and effectively than any police department in this Nation. The police may struggle, at times, with the parameters and ethics of their jobs, but they have no comparative power to authorize welfare/enslavement programs that can buy votes for themselves, subverting their constituents' lives to one primary role of keeping the master in power. Law enforcement officers themselves are among the lowest on the community power ladder, whether locally, statewide, or federally. The real power-mongers enslave and destroy people with words or shifts in wealth. Oh, the police may work for ethical or unethical people, but it is those behind the scenes who should be the targets of ire of citizens. The cop on the beat is a foot-soldier of society, by comparison. The love of power and money, and the fear of losing those things, is at the root of what drives one person or group to enslave another, irrespective of the color or income or education level of either. We all need to learn to discriminate between the foot-soldiers and the power-brokers.

The inflammatory epithets of such angry demonstrations, above, only serve to give a "black eye" (pun intended) to every American law-abiding firearm owner and to every responsible American person of any color. I don't care whether people call themselves black panthers, green leprechauns, orange trees, or pink panthers (whether with dead seriousness or tongue-in-cheek). We all have constitutional responsibilities to support and defend our Constitution and our Rights, NOT to abuse them. AND, furthermore, we ALL accountable before God Almighty, whether we want to be or not.

I understand that there have been hundreds of years of racial, economic, and ethnic discrimination in this Nation, starting with the suppression of those who were here when Europeans arrived in the South and the East. There is no real reason for it, only excuses. Every group in this country has been on the short end of someone's stick at some point, and the damages have swung back and forth, with some groups continuing to be low on the proverbial totem pole (with the government treating them as if they are too lazy or ignorant to do anything for themselves). We've had a long, violent, bitter struggle to get to where we are today, and there is still a lot wrong with our Nation. So, why don't we all stop complaining about it and get to work fixing it?

In the video, the anger is vented and nothing is fixed. I, too, see the Rights of Americans abused, neglected, and eroded. I see increasing numbers of citizens enslaved by our increasingly massive, invasive, and overbearing government, especially with the growth of its intrusions during these last 104 years of increasingly tighter anti-firearms laws that have had NO constructive effect on the abuses of armed criminals and the mentally deranged within our society. Citizens of all colors and persuasions must pull together to restore our Nation and states to the Ideals and Principles to which our Founding Documents call us. Our government has no constitutional justification for infringing upon any of the Rights of law-abiding citizens. Therefore, we, the law-abiding citizens must put our responsibilities and Rights into practice and get government to abide by our Constitution and Bill of Rights. If we do not work together to fix ourselves and our government, then we shall continue to see the deterioration of our society.

If we and our government do not return to living by the biblical commands of God and the existing language of our Constitution, then the recorded chants of the "Black Panthers" will seem like child's-play by comparison to what our neglect of duty and the increasing oppression by government will ignite across this Nation. Irrespective of whether the reader thinks it was right or wrong, the social eruptions in Ferguson, MO, were only a small forewarning of things to come, if we all do not repent of our personal and collective sin, return to Jesus Christ, and return to our Constitution. If or when such a national tragedy takes place, as has happened so many times in other cultures, throughout history, the blood of our citizens will be on the hands of all those who have failed to do what God and our Constitution say we are supposed to be doing.
