I just saw an ad on TV tonight that clearly demonstrates that the priorities of President Obama and his supporters are anything but presidential. The Broadway In The White House TV special clearly shows that this supposed leader is more interested in fancy talk, "bread and circuses", and having his wife dance for the public on TV, than he is in taking AND LEADING a fighting stand against terrorism or upholding the natural human rights of U.S. citizens.
This President has purged too many well-seasoned U.S. military leaders. He has peddled alien amnesty and compassion for refugees. BUT, this glib President has shucked and jived the public, and miserably failed to boldly address the aggressive nature of Islamic terrorism. He and his supporters repeatedly fail to admit that the official doctrines of Islam call for violence against any who do not convert to their way of life. While refusing to admit these last 1,400 years of ongoing jihad, this President, our so-called leader, mocks our Constitution, fails in his oath of office, and continues to spew his fancy speeches that call for unconstitutional disarmament of our citizenry, even as terrorists and violent criminals continue to slaughter people in the USA and around the world.
By contrast, I find it encouraging that increasing numbers of local law enforcement officers, including police chiefs and sheriffs, have far more respect for citizens, and far more practical sense, than the President. It is these officers of the law who have been, and are, warning their constituents and neighbors to exercise increased caution and preparedness, as Washington, D.C., Police Chief, Cathy Lanier commented on 60 Minutes this past Sunday night (11/22/2015), saying that most shooting sprees are over in scant minutes, before police ever arrive on the scene.
As cited in that 60 Minutes report about shooting sprees, increasing numbers of police are admitting that the sprees are usually over and the damage done before police can arrive on the scene, AND that citizens must not be fearful, or numb to the violence, but prepared and ready to act to save their own selves and those around them. On the infamous 9/11 date, we saw the cost and effects of people fighting back against violence. Let us emulate those who gave their lives fighting against the terrorists in their jet. That resistance of evil may have cost them their lives, but their actions kept far worse damage from being done to others. It is that kind of selflessness, concern for human life, willingness to act, and non-political honesty has led increasing numbers of police chiefs and sheriffs to openly encourage law-abiding citizens to prepare themselves against becoming victims of violent crime or terrorism.
Despite all his glib and oily talk, Obama has increasingly distanced himself from our U.S. Constitution, and therefore from our citizens. Although this president seeks followers and favors elsewhere, whether among illegal aliens, foreign refugees, or among power mongers, he continues to undermine our constitutional rights and thereby betray our citizens, for he has failed to boldly address the Islamic terrorism issue AND he continues to try to disarm law-abiding U.S. citizens of their constitutional imperative of self-defense. Given the realities of the naturally violent side of human nature and terrorism in current events, anyone with open eyes and mind can see that Obama has been taking an increasingly hands-off attitude towards Islamic terrorists. He has clearly demonstrated his ongoing disregard for the lives and liberties of U.S. citizens, in particular. Furthermore, let us not forget his desire to change our government and Constitution? Even now, in the wake of the terrorists' slaughter of people in Paris, this president's lack of overt support for France is creating a void and rift in international politics and could potentially drive France into the all too willing arms of an alliance with Russia's Putin. That is the same Putin who has been attacking and slaughtering the Ukrainians.
Where are the equals of President Teddy Roosevelt or President Eisenhower when we need them to provide real leadership for our Nation? Not only do we need bold and godly leadership, but we, the people of our Nation, need to stop drinking the "politically correct" Kool-aide that has been served up to us these last 80 years. We MUST return to God, His Word, and the Natural Rights and Government that are enumerated in our Constitution. We cannot afford to further entertain the overbearing, invasive, and politically, financially, and socially destructive practices that have typically been dished out by our Federal Government these last 80 years. We must heed the words of President Abraham Lincoln, in his Gettysburg Address, delivered 152 years ago, on November 19, 1863:
"Four score and seven years ago our fathers brought forth on this continent, a new nation, conceived in Liberty, and dedicated to the proposition that all men are created equal.
"Now we are engaged in a great civil war, testing whether that nation, or any nation so conceived and so dedicated, can long endure. We are met on a great battle-field of that war. We have come to dedicate a portion of that field, as a final resting place for those who here gave their lives that that nation might live. It is altogether fitting and proper that we should do this.
"But, in a larger sense, we can not dedicate -- we can not consecrate -- we can not hallow -- this ground. The brave men, living and dead, who struggled here, have consecrated it, far above our poor power to add or detract. The world will little note, nor long remember what we say here, but it can never forget what they did here.
