As a Bible believing Christian, I understand, biblically, that many of the doctrines, practices, and counsels of official Roman Catholicism do not agree with what God says in His Word. However, I do find the following National Catholic Register article an interesting commentary on the Democratic party's religious history, with a special focus on Democratic radicalization against the Lord Jesus Christ and against God's Word, the Bible.
