The Devil Will Promise You Anything and Everything

Whenever "we, the people" tire of shouldering our godly and constitutional responsibilities, whenever we tire of standing up for what is right and good, the devil and his vile workers eagerly jump in offering to 'save the day': Satan offers anything and everything that "we, the people" want to hear, but he will always betray us.

By contrast, God promises only what is good for us, even as our Constitution gives us clear and simple standards by which to live and establish our government, though we may NOT always want to hear what God's Word and our Constitution have to say. However, God ALWAYS keeps His promises, since He is the only one in all Creation who is always able to do so.

How Shall We Prove What Is Good and Right, and Then Stand With God Against Evil?
Psalm 19:7-11:
7
The law of the LORD is perfect, converting the soul: the testimony of the LORD is sure, making wise the simple.
8  The statutes of the LORD are right, rejoicing the heart: the commandment of the LORD is pure, enlightening the eyes.
9  The fear of the LORD is clean, enduring for ever: the judgments of the LORD are true and righteous altogether.
10  More to be desired are they than gold, yea, than much fine gold: sweeter also than honey and the honeycomb.
11  Moreover by them is thy servant warned: and in keeping of them there is great reward.

Be Ready! Stand Your Watch! Warn Those Around You!
Ezekiel 3:16-21:
16  And it came to pass at the end of seven days, that the word of the LORD came unto me, saying,
17  Son of man, I have made thee a watchman unto the house of Israel: therefore hear the word at my mouth, and give them warning from me.
18  When I say unto the wicked, Thou shalt surely die; and thou givest him not warning, nor speakest to warn the wicked from his wicked way, to save his life; the same wicked man shall die in his iniquity; but his blood will I require at thine hand.
19  Yet if thou warn the wicked, and he turn not from his wickedness, nor from his wicked way, he shall die in his iniquity; but thou hast delivered thy soul.
20  Again, When a righteous man doth turn from his righteousness, and commit iniquity, and I lay a stumblingblock before him, he shall die: because thou hast not given him warning, he shall die in his sin, and his righteousness which he hath done shall not be remembered; but his blood will I require at thine hand.
21  Nevertheless if thou warn the righteous man, that the righteous sin not, and he doth not sin, he shall surely live, because he is warned; also thou hast delivered thy soul.
