Psalm 19:1-14
1 The heavens declare the glory of God; and the firmament sheweth
his handywork.
2 Day unto day
uttereth speech, and night unto night sheweth knowledge.
3 There is no speech nor language,
where their voice is not heard.
4
Their line is gone out through all the earth, and their words to
the end of the world. In them hath he set a tabernacle for the sun,
5 Which is as a bridegroom
coming out of his chamber, and rejoiceth as a strong man to run a race.
6 His going forth is from the
end of the heaven, and his circuit unto the ends of it: and there is nothing hid
from the heat thereof.
7 The law of the LORD is perfect, converting the soul: the
testimony of the LORD is sure, making wise the simple.
8 The statutes of the LORD are right,
rejoicing the heart: the commandment of the LORD is pure, enlightening
the eyes.
9 The fear of the LORD
is clean, enduring for ever: the judgments of the LORD are true
and righteous altogether.
10
More to be desired are they than gold, yea, than much fine
gold: sweeter also than honey and the honeycomb.
11
Moreover by them is thy servant warned: and in keeping of
them there is great reward.
12
Who can understand his errors? cleanse thou me from secret
faults.
13 Keep back thy
servant also from presumptuous sins; let them not have dominion over me:
then shall I be upright, and I shall be innocent from the great transgression.
14 Let the words of my mouth, and the
meditation of my heart, be acceptable in thy sight, O LORD, my strength, and my
redeemer.
In relation to all the people in this world, there are only a few souls who love and trust God's Word and His Salvation, as Jesus Christ clearly teaches in God's Bible. Christ has made it clear that there are far more people who doubt or despise what God has said. Jeremiah 36 is a fine example of how God preserves His Word, in spite of the destructive works of those who hate what He says.
God has promised us that there is only one way that He wants us to deal with our sin and with Him. Please understand that this is NOT about joining a religion or how religious someone is in their earthly works. We ALL must admit our sin and accept God's terms for our only opportunity for eternal salvation and for godly living, which is only through the Lord Jesus Christ, or we shall definitely face the consequences for choosing to neglect God's plan of salvation.
May God bless you as you seek Him and His will through His Word, the Bible.
Proverbs 3:1-12
1 My son, forget not my law; but let thine heart keep my
commandments:
2 For length of days,
and long life, and peace, shall they add to thee.
3
Let not mercy and truth forsake thee: bind them about thy neck;
write them upon the table of thine heart:
4
So shalt thou find favour and good understanding in the sight of
God and man.
5 Trust in the LORD with
all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding.
6 In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall
direct thy paths.
7 Be not wise in thine own eyes: fear the LORD, and depart from
evil.
8 It shall be health to thy
navel, and marrow to thy bones.
9
Honour the LORD with thy substance, and with the firstfruits of
all thine increase:
10 So shall thy
barns be filled with plenty, and thy presses shall burst out with new wine.
11 My son, despise not the chastening
of the LORD; neither be weary of his correction:
12
For whom the LORD loveth he correcteth; even as a father the son
in whom he delighteth.
